Why We Don’t Sell Doors Online – And Why That’s a Good Thing

At T.H. Wiggans, we believe that buying doors should be done in person—not through a screen. Unlike smaller items, doors are bulky, easily damaged in transit, and often come in dozens of styles, sizes, and finishes. Ordering the wrong size is a common issue online, and returning a door is far more difficult than sending back a pair of shoes. Timber doors can also warp if not stored correctly, which makes home delivery risky if the customer isn’t ready to fit them right away.

That’s why we keep a dedicated door showroom in Kendal with over 40 doors on display, including internal and external options, pocket doors, and sliding gear systems. You can see, touch, and compare the doors side by side—helping you make a confident decision before you buy.
